Instrumentation Cable is a 600 V, individual shielded pairs or triads with overall shield, thermoset, Class IE rated construction specifically designed for application in nuclear generating stations and where flame retardancy is critical
Designed for use on circuits where overall shielding is required to protect from external electrostatic interference, but not shielding between conductors.
Can be installed in trays, conduit, ducts, or in direct burial applications
Conductor : Annealed Tinned copper as per ASTM B33
Insulation : Flame-retardant, heat-moisture and radiation-resistant, themoset cross-Linked Polyethylene (EBXL-XLPE 120oC)
Outer sheath : Heavy-duty chlorosulphonated polyethylene (CSPE) – Black.
Rated Voltage : 600 V
Temperature Rating :120°C

(ii) ICEA S-73-532
Rated at 90°C wet or dry
Fully traceable
Qualified for 40-year service life
Radiation resistant (up to 200 megarads)
